Safe With Classic Views
- Open the MMC (Microsoft Management Console) via Run located at Start Menu. To do that is click once on Start, then select Run … then type MMC and click OK (or press the Enter key located on the keyboard).
- MMC window will appear. In the MMC window select File on the menu bar and select Add / Remove Snap-in … (Ctrl + M). Then select the tab standalone. Then click Add ….
- So the Add standalone Snap-in will appear immediately. In the Available standalone Snap-ins select Group Policy Object Editor, and then click Add. A new window called Select Group Policy Object will appear, and then click Finish.
- Click Close in the Add standalone Snap-in. Then click OK in the Add / Remove Snap-in …
- In the Console1 window select Local Computer Policy, then select User Configuration, Administrative Templates and select, select Start Menu and Taskbar, and then find and double click on the option Force classic Start menu.
- Window Force classic Start Menu Properties window will open. The next step is select Enabled in the Settings tab, then click OK.
So the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties will change. Options in the window there is only Classic Start Menu. Does not believe? Please check your own, do the right click on the taskbar, then select Properties, then select the Start Menu tab. Try to see, what is missing? Of course that option is missing Start Menu.
